I did my first college application today.
How boring.
And the Raiders got pulverized up the ass.
Today sucked balls.
Yesterday was awesome. I spent time with my friends.
Today sucked.
Massive.
Diseased.
Moose.
Wang.

read it and weep.
11 fumbles 6 lost 3 lost in last 4 games
11 interceptions 8. let me repeat that 8 in the last 4 games and only 8 TD's
why yes soxs i can see how bad the raider's are
when you view those kinds of number as ACCEPTABLE! Jeez Al Davis really has screwed you over.
Alright, your rediculus number was correct.
I never said he wasn't mistake-prone. I'm just saying that he would develope faster (and probably better) if you let him play through these early mistakes. Sure, he's screwed up. Who hasn't? Peyton isn't exactly playing like a stud. Favre has had awful (and I mean AWFUL--both Petyon and Favre are on my fantasy team) games, but the Jets still play him. Partly because he's Fare, mostly because they have nobody else.
The point is that the 49ers don't have anyone else. The new guy will suck just as much as O'Sullivan. No difference. But Martz liked J.T. I'd put a little more faith in him than most anyone else.
Also, as a young quarterback, he's gonna go through some growing pains. You've gotta let him throw through them.
Seriously, Gore's decent (and I will not give you more than that--as tallented as he is, he is very injury-prone), but no matter how good (well, maybe L.T. or Adrian Peterson last year good) your running back is, you need to throw the ball. It's inevitable. The 49ers have nobody who can throw. They're going to lose their games regardless of what they do. O'Sullivan is their best shot at a future.
If you say Alex Smith, I will laugh in your face.
in response to your ignorant commant i will ask which of the two QBs the niners have 1-2 (in whatever order they have them) in has played better when on the field during the regular season. Shaun Hill or J.T. O, if you care to look you will find that it is Shaun Hill, who, BTW is only one year older than J.T. O at 27(neither are YOUNG QB's)
here's Shaun Hill's numbers
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=4260
last 4 games 1 INT and 1 fumble
6 TDs in air 1 on ground
101.5 QB rating
but your right he cant possibly QB for a BAy Area Team. He's too good.
and i agree gore isn't a LT or and AP when i comes too talent. But AP is even more ingury prone than Gore. Did i mention he broke a collarbone jumping into the endzone at the end of a run in college. And he's smart
And no i dont think Gore is at LT's level, he talented but nowhere near there. He's at the level of Stephen Jackson, Willie Parker, etc.
oh and comparing a first time starter to Peyton and Farve, not realistic. No team is going to bench an All-Pro EVER. J.T. O is not an all-pro, i simply dont think he has the ability to avoid mistakes to do it. I agree you take away dumb mistakes, I pick J.T. but you cant and so i dont.
SHaun Hill for QB. (until he fails(but maybe not(please!!)))
"I agree you take away dumb mistakes, I pick J.T. but you cant and so i dont."
What the hell does that mean?
Look: regardless of how poorly he's doing, there are people out there who are sucking as well. Why bench him? He has a future. Sure, he makes bad moves. I don't really care. Mike Martz still liked him. He changed his public message only due to pressure from inside the organization.
The comparison is totally valid. Favre is sucking too. Look at his stats. Why don't they bench him? Because he's Brett Favre? SO?
What's in a name, 9223...what's in a name?
